The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
has expressed satisfaction with the performance of Gov. Sule Lamido of Jigawa
in office.
The party’s National Publicity
Secretary, Mr Olisa Metuh, made the commendation when he inspected some
projects executed by the state government in Dutse as part of the PDP project
tour of states controlled by the state.
Metuh said that the party was
particularly impressed by the world-class International Airport constructed by
the state government in Dutse.
He said that the airport would boost
the economy of the state, adding that ‘’PDP will show case the achievements of
the Lamido-led administration.
“We are proud of Lamido’s
performance and we are going to tell the world what Lamido did in Jigawa,
especially the magnificent airport.’’
The PDP spokesman also commended the state government for executing other people-oriented projects in the areas of education, healthcare, potable water supply, agriculture, youth and women empowerment, among others.

He urged PDP supporters in the state
to rally round the PDP administration in the state and to remain focused in
order to ensure victory of the party in 2015 election.
Responding, Lamido described PDP as
the most consistent party in the last 15 years of uninterrupted democracy in
Nigeria.

‘’Contrary to the claims by some
people that there are crises in PDP, I assure you that there are no crises and
I will never it.
“As democrats, we shout; after shouting, we can come back to reconcile our differences.
“I am a product of PDP, born by PDP, dignified by PDP, how can I leave the party that is my sweat and my blood?.
